Sundays at Christ Church

We were made to worship God and enjoy him forever, and Sunday by Sunday we gather to do just that. We bring our prayers and praises to him, and the risen Lord Jesus meets with us and blesses us through his word. Therefore, everything we do on Sunday revolves around his word, the Bible. We read God’s Word, we preach God’s Word, and we taste and see God’s Word in the Lord’s Supper and baptism. We try and structure the whole service around the story of the gospel, and also sing a mixture of contemporary worship songs, hymns and psalms. For more information, have a look at this short leaflet.

Our services are every Sunday at 11am and 6pm. You are really welcome whether it is your first time at church or your hundredth time.

Children

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” And then he took the children on his knees and blessed them. At Christ Church, we don't believe that children are the future of the church, we believe they are the church! We believe they are made, as much as adults, to glorify God and enjoy him forever.  And we believe that Jesus welcomes and blesses them as much as us as we gather Sunday by Sunday. Therefore, at Christ Church children stay in the service to worship with their families. We know that this is unusual and often hard work for children and parents. But we are convinced this is a great blessing for the children and for the adults.

This leaflet contains some information to help you and your family worship God together.
